La Merced & Sonora Markets Esoteric Tour

Spirituality has always been a crucial component in the identity of the people and culture that it’s part of. In Mexico, 500 years ago Catholicism was brought by the Spaniards, but a lot of our prehispanic rituals survive to this day mixed with Christianity.

In this tour we are going to the very heart of the Sonora and La Merced markets, both  places where exoticism and esotericism become everyday life. Experience a cleansing (limpia), find out why fruit and chile are the perfect combination, visit and understand these places that for centuries had been reserved only for Mexicans.
